Bilic said in interview yesterday the player wasn't ready for the pace of the premiership yet. I feel he's been thrown to the wolves a little bit by being relied upon after just arriving.

Needs some more time on the bench, learning our game. Looks like a rabbit in the headlights.
Clearly not a number one choice, a rookie who might be alright learning from a senior pro who is the main striker.
Zaza is obviously way better right now and Calleri needs to keep on learning.

Like i said on the match thread yesterday; I quite like him, there was a moment when he was absolutely surrounded by blue shirts but he still came away with the ball and found a team mate, I like his endeavour, hopefully will come up with a goal soon to boost his confidence, nowhere near as bad as some are making out imho.

I think he has looked ok in his brief tenure here. He seems to me like he could turn out to be a decent premier league striker, but no better than Sakho.

Career stats of 1 in 3 is pretty decent.
To put it in perspective, Shearer averaged 1 in 2, Kevin Davies averaged 1 in 5. So his stats are worse than Shearers but better than Davies'
Dean Ashton averaged 1 in 3. And he was constantly a goal threat. If we can find 3 players that average a goal every 3 games then we'll be well on our way.

Now back to the subject in hand.
It was hard task for a new signing to play up top on his own in his 2nd start. I'm certain if Fletcher was playing alongside him he would of fared better.
